The Trail affords a nice view of the city skyline in several places.
The northern end of the trail is an older path that travels through Riverfront Park.
The trail presently ends at a parking lot near the waterworks, but an approximately one mile ride on Riverview Boulevard will take you to the Chain-of-Rocks Bridge, which is now open dawn to dusk, 7 days a week.
