Forest Park Bike Path
Forest Park is a 1,300 acre urban oasis in Midtown St. Louis. The main six mile bike path was one of the first in the area. The terrain is gently rolling as it passes by lakes, fountains, statuary, and several major local attractions, including the world famous St. Louis Zoo and the St. Louis Science Center.

Though the trail is designated as a bike path, users include skaters and joggers. The path is so popular, that it is slated to be converted to a dual-lane, divided trail to relieve congestion and improve safety.

One section of the trail travels through the lovely wooded area designated as John F. Kennedy Memorial Forest, which also features a wide, wood-chip carpeted walking trail.

Dinosaurs roam along the path near the St. Louis Science Center.
